Smoking Cessation

Treatment for Buerger’s disease is aimed at improving blood flow to the limb where that option is still available by endovascular or open surgery. Treatment given will also be aimed at controlling the symptoms and prevent worsening of the disease. You will be instructed to stop using tobacco in any form with referral to smoking cessation counsellors if needed.
